Sameul Vitza of 511 Bluff St.Belle Vernon;formerly of Banning;Pa.;died Wednesday;Aug.8;1984;at 1 a.m.in Mon Valley Hospital;Carroll Twp. He was 89. Mr.Vitza was born May 2;1895;in North Belle Vernon;a son of the late Thomas and Ann Wilson Vitza. He retired in 1965 from employment with the Monessen plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corporation. A Catholic by faith;Mr.Vitza was a life member of the North Belle Vernon Fire Department. Surviving are one brother;James of Canoga Park;Calif.;two sisters;Mrs.Elmer (Agnes) Moore of Belle Vernon and Mrs.Ella Rade of Ohio. Friends will be received at the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m.in the funeral home. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
