from the construction department
of the Monessen plant of
Pittsburgh Steel Co.
He was born in Syria.
Mr. Simon was a member of
St. Michael’s Syrian Orthodox
Church of Monessen.
His wife; Marion Matheny Simon;
died in February; 1962.
Surviving are his step-mother;
Mrs. Elizabeth Simon of
Perryopolis;three brothers;
Benjamin of Monessen;with
whom he made his home;John
with the United States Army in
Germany and Thomas in Perryopolis; two sisters; Mrs.
Mary Zayer of New York City
and Mrs. Anna Dzurinko of
Monessen. Friends are being received at the H.Denver Rhome Funeral Home;Monessen;where a service will take place Wednesday;Jan.5;1966;at 12:30 p.m.followed by an additional service at 1 p.m.in St.Michael’s Syrian Orthodox Church;Monessen.
