Obituary

Samuel J.Fiorino,67,of 320 McGovern Road,Houston,died Tuesday,Dec.13,1994,in Mon Valley Hospital,Carroll Township. Born Dec.1,1927,in North Belle Vernon,he was a son of the late John and Mary DeRosa Fiorino. Formerly of North Belle Vernon,he had resided in Houston the past seven years. Mr.Fiorino was a member of St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church,Belle Vernon. He was a life member,past president ad former second assistant chief of the North Belle Vernon Volunteer Fire Department. Mr.Fiorino retired in 1984 from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel,Allenport plant,where he was foreman of the pickle line. He was a veteran of World War II,achieving the rank of sergeant in the U.S.Army. Mr.Fiorino was a member of REAP and AARP. Survivors include his wife,Janice L.Rosman Fiorino,two brothers,Anthony R.Fiorino of Philadelphia and Louis A.Fiorino of Belle Vernon,and one sister,Rita Radock of Fairhope. In addition to his parents,he was preceded in death by a sister,Helen Yocolano. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m.and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home,626 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,where a prayer service will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m.,followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m.in St.Sebastian R.C.Church,Belle Vernon. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Members of North Belle Vernon Volunteer Fire Department will meet THursday at 7 p.m. to conduct services in the funeral home.
