Obituary

Samuel Insley,age 79 years,a pioneer resident of the Monongahela valley died Wednesday afternoon,January 18,1922,at 1:05 at his home near Iron City.  Death was due to infirmities of old age,the deceased having been confined to his home for the past year.  Mr.Insley was born in England and came to this county when he was about 16 years of age.  He immediately came to the Pittsburgh district and finally located at Iron City securing a position in the mines and at which he worked until about four years ago.  His first wife died about 1903 and he later remarried and has two sons,Noah and James,both at home surviving.  Five step-children also survive as follows,Thomas and George Casson at home,Mrs.Margaret Brown and Mrs.Jessie Insley at Donora.  Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at two o'clock from the home with interment in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
