Obituary

Samuel F. Bertalan, 88, of Lowber, Fayette City, Pa., passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2015, in his residence. He was born March 27, 1927 in Riverside , W.Va., son of the late James E Bertalan and the late Ethel Peto Bertalan. He is survived by his dear friend, George Stevens of Lowber; two granddaughters, Jennifer and Bobby Jo; and two sisters, Agnes (Skip) Grable and Bertha Myers. He was preceded in death his parents; wife, Irene Prokopovitch Bertalan, in 2003; son, Robert Bertalan in 1992; two brothers, John and Robert Bertalan; and two sisters, Isabelle Bertalan and Irene Turner. Private services and interment took place Thursday, April 2, 2015, in the Belle Vernon Cemetery, Belle Vernon, Pa.
