Samuel David Simpson,age 77 years, a resident or Water St.. Masntown ,died Wednesday morning, August 3. 1955. He was employed as janitor of the Masontown High School for the past ten years. Surviving are his wife, Ruth Simpson; three daughters,Ruth Ruttenberg of Altoona: Zelda Ammons of Harrisburg; and Lillian Hawker of Greensboro; four brothers, Fred Simpson of Washington, D. C.. Robert of Pittsburgh; Nelson of Belle Vernon and William of Masontown; two sisters Bessie Swan of Charlerol and Eila Hartzell of New Kensington; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also survive. Friends are being received in the Maykuth Funeral Home, Masontown, until Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock when services will be conducted with Rev. Enid Pierce, officiating. Internment will be in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
