Samuel Cornella of 543 Conrad avenue;North Charleroi;died suddenly of a heart attack;Wednesday March 30;1960;at 5 p.m. He was born in Austria;January 10;1890;and came to Charleroi in 1923 from Smithton. He was a member of the American Citizens Club of North Charleroi and after thirty years service;retired from the Government Engineers Corps. He is survivied by his wife;Mrs.Emma Paterline Cornella;three daughters;Mrs.John (Clara) Husovitz;North Charleroi;Mrs.John L.(Isabelle) Andrews of Pittsburgh;and Dora Cornella at home;one sister;Gizelle Cornella in Italy;and two grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Francis G.Slezak Funeral Home during hours of 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Services will be held there Saturday;April 2;at 3 p.m.;in charge of Rev.Joseph N.Wittkofski;and interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
