Samuel C. Taylor; 76; of
Ridgeview Terrace; Donora;
died Tuesday;Aug.19;1975; at 1:25 p.m. in
Charleroi Division of Mon
Valley Hospital.
He was born in Winston
Salem; N. C.; on July 12; 1899;
son of the late Willard and Sarah
Taylor.
Mr. Taylor retired from the
Monessen Plant of Wheeling-
Pittsburgh Steel Corp. in 1964;
after 44 years of employment
there.
He was preceded in death by
his wife; Anna Mae Taylor; in
September; 1962; and by a son;
Sam Jr. (Hammie); in
February; 1974.
Surviving are two daughters;
Mrs. Maurice (Dorothy) Wade
of Donora; with whom he
resided; and Mrs. Floyd (Anna
Mae) Faulks of Monessen; 12
grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren;
and a number of
nieces and nephews.
Friends are being received at
the Beverly C. Draper Funeral
Home; Monessen; from 2 to 4
and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday. Services will be held Friday at 11 a.m.at the funeral home with the Rev.Maurice B.Wade officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Beverly C.Draper is funeral director in charge.
