Samuel Adrian Ray;67;of 322 Highland Ave.;North Charleroi;died suddenly on Monday;Feb.10;1975;at 9:30 p.m.at his home. Born May 11;1907;in Bulger;Pa.;he was a son of the late Augustine and Firmin Ray. Mr.Ray was a retired employee of the Allenport Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. He was a member of the French Club and Slavic Citizens Club;both of North Charleroi;and Naomi Athletic Club;Fayette City. Surviving are his widow;Blanche Knowles Ray;one grandson;David Biles of North Charleroi;two stepsons;Harvey Davis of Charleroi;William L.Davis of Fayette City;two stepdaughters;Mrs.Bradley (Grace) Metzger of Belle Vernon;Bert E.Davis of New York;N.Y.;one brother;Joseph F.Ray of Fallowfield Twp.and four sisters;Victoria Bayens of Charleroi;Blanche Pensis of Mt.Lebanon;Jean Sepesky of Monessen and Mrs.Peter (Margaret) Kossar of Monongahela. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m.on Tuesday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.on Wednesday at the Ed Melenyzer Funeral Home;262 Donner Ave.;Monessen where services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
