died Tuesday;June 14;1977 at 4:10 p.m. in
Westmoreland Manor;
Greensburg; where she had
resided for the past three
years. She was 96.
Mrs. Goe was born June 20;
1881 in Belle Vernon; a
daughter of the late Andrew
Lockley and Margaret Miles
Lockley.
She was a pioneer resident
of Belle Vernon and a lifelong
member of the Speers St.
A.M.E. Church; Belle Vernon.
She was preceded in death
by her husband; James Ernest
Goe on Jan. 11; 1967.
Three sisters and six
brothers also preceded her in
death.
Survivors include two sons;
Kenneth Andrew Goe and
Paul Lawrence Goe; both of
Belle Vernon; a daughter;
Mrs. Ernestyne Goe Bedford
of Donora; two nieces; Mrs.
Phyllis Williams and Mrs.
Lillian Walker; both of Pittsburgh; five granddaughters;
two grandsons; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received in
the Percy Law Jr. Funeral
Home; 1324 Meldon Ave.;
Donora; after 7 p.m . Wednesday and
in the Speers St. A.M.E.
Church; Belle Vernon; after 5 p.m. Thursday where the body will lie in state until 11 a.m. Friday;the time of service. Rev.S.W.Chambers will officiate. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Percy Law Jr.Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
