Salvatore J.Perry;59;of 323 Water St.;Belle Vernon;died Sunday;June 9;1991;at 4:50 p.m.in Mon Valley Hospital;Inc.;Carroll Township. Born Feb.12;1932;in Belle Vernon;he was the son of the late John and Catherine Spadafore Perry. Mr.Perry resided in Belle Vernon the past 10 years. A U.S.Army veteran of World War II;he was a member of Belle Vernon American Legion Post 659 and the Disabled American Veterans. He was also a member of the United Steelworkers of America;AARP;Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association;the National Rifle Association;and Loyal Order of Moose Valparaiso Lodge 1357. He retired in 1981 from Midwest Steel;where he had operated an overhead crane. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by his wife;Ann Marie McConeghy Perry;and a stepbrother;James Sidary. Surviving are one daughter;Christine Perry of Valparaiso;Ind.;one stepbrother;Joseph Sidary of Belle Vernon;and two grandchildren;Larry and Maria Perry of Valparaiso;Ind. Friends will be received Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home;626 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;where services will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m.with the Rev.Donald A.Bowers of First Christian Church;Belle Vernon.officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Belle Vernon American Legion Post 659 will conduct services in the funeral home at 7:15 p.m.Tuesday. Arrangements are being handled by the Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home.
