Saima Tillie Moyer;formerly of Charleroi;died Tuesday at 10:10 a.m.in Passavant Health Center in Zelienople. She was 72. Born March 10;1911;in Monessen;she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Lyyti Huotari Maatta. Mrs.Moyer was a member of Christ Lutheran Church of Charleroi. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by her husband;Earl H.Moyer in 1969. Surviving are a daughter;Mrs.William (Alice) Baranik of Hamburg;N.J.;a brother;Wiljo Maatta of Monessen;seven sisters;Mrs.Earl (Anna) Walker of McConnelsville;Ohio;Mrs.Tyyne Jaskari of Warren;Ohio;Mrs.Glen (Ruth) Grog of Blissville;Ohio;Mrs.Joseph (Martha) Horan of Allenport;Miss Elvi Maatta of Monessen;Mrs.Henry (Lillian) Netico of Warren;Ohio and Norma Maatta of Chraleroi and one grandson;Michael Baranik. Friends are being received Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.at the Schrock-Hogan Funeral Home;226 Fallowfield Ave.;Charleroi;where funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m.with pastor James M.Robbins of Christ Lutheran Church officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Schrock-Hogan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
