Ruthann Kerestesi;61;of Monessen;died Monday;January 4;2010 in U.P.M.C. Presbyterian-Montefiore;Pittsburgh. She was born in N.Charleroi;on September 14;1948;the daughter of Lilas (Rohland) Turcaso of Monessen;and the late Anthony Turcaso. Ruthann was a life long resident of Monessen;a 1966 graduate of Monessen High School;and a member of St.Paul’s Lutheran Church in Monessen. She was a devoted wife;mother;and grandmother;who loved to bake and spend time with her family. In addition to her mother;she is survived by her husband of 40 years;John E.Kerestesi;two sons and daughters-in-law;John C.and Kristin Kerestesi of Monessen;Joshua C. and Nicole Kerestesi of Mt.Lebanon;three grandchildren;Paige;Chole;and Canaan Kerestesi;a brother and sister-in-law;George and Patricia Latta of Delaware City;DE;and by nieces and nephews. In addition to her father;she was preceded in death by a brother;Raymond Latta. Visitation and funeral services are private. She will be laid to rest in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
