and Pearl Wheeler Phillips.

Chorale Singers; Circle of
Ruth and the Kingston
Singers.
Mrs. Tansmore was the chorus director of the Union
Baptist Church junior and
senior choirs.
Survivors include her
widower; Milford C Tansmore; five sons; Merriel
Tansmore of Gary; Ind ;
Milford C. Tansmore Jr. of
Los Angeles; Calif.; Arthur
Tansmore and William
Tansmore; both of Monessen;
and Edward Tansmore of
Philadelphia; Pa.; f o u r
daughters. Charlotte Tansmore of Monessen; Harrietta
Howard of Clairton; Geraldine
Crable of Allentown and
Maxine Tansmore of New
York City; N Y.; one brother;
Oliver Phillips of Blairsville;
four sisters; Evelyn Gordon
and Dolores McGraw; both of
Texas; Joyce Bonner of Pittsburgh; LaVone Farmer of
Monessen; 38 grandchildren
and 12 great-grandchildren;
and a number of nieces;
nephews and cousins.
Friends will be received in
the William R. Taylor Funeral
Home; 645 McMahon Ave ;
Monessen; from 7 lo 9 p m Monday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Tuesday. Services will be held in the Union Baptist Church;Monessen;on Wednesday at 1 p.m.with Rev.Clarence McCraw officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. William R.Taylor is funeral director in charge.
