arrival Sunday;Aug.1;1971;at 8 a.m.at Charleroi – Monessen
Hospital.She had been visiting her son-in-law
and daughter;Mr. and Mrs.John Stieska of 21 Montraver
Drive;Monessen;for the
past three weeks.
Born in Port Royal;Pa.; she
was a former resident of Monessen.
She was preceded hi death
by her husband; Edwin Hopton;
in 1937.
Surviving;in addition to her
daughter;Mrs. John (June)
Stieska;are two other daughters;
Mrs. Leona Kelly of Dearborn;
Mich.;and Mrs. Steven
(Betty Lola) Sweda of Garden
City;Mich.; one son; William
Edwin Hopton;also of Garden
City;Mich.;14 grandchildren;
five great – grandchildren; one
brother;John Kulow of Weirton
Heights. W. Va.; and one sister;
Henrietta Kulow of Uniontown.
Friends will be received after
7 p.m. Monday at the Rhome Funeral Home;Monessen;where a service will be held in the chapel Wednesday;Aug.4;1971;at 1:30 p.m.with the Rev.Thomas R.Stennett of St.Paul’s Lutheran Church;Monessen;officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Rhome funeral directors in charge of arrangements.
