Ruth M. Pivarnik,78,of Fayette City,died Friday,April 18,1997,at home, following a lengthy illness. Born in Monessen,Feb. 28,1919,she was a daughter of the late Michael G. and Anna Pinksa Pivarnik. She was Catholic by faith. Surviving is one brother, Robert G. Pivarnik of Fayette City; three nephews, Ronald Allbach,Howard Pivarnik and Edward Pivarnikand two nieces,Melinda Kibler and Karen Hill. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother,Elmer Pivarnik. There will be no public visitation and interment will be private in the Belle Vernon Cemetery,Belle Vernon. The Eley-McCrory Funeral Home Inc. of Fayette City is in charge of the arrangements.
