Ruth Bice McGinsky;77; a very loving mother and 50-year resident of Arnold City; entered into heaven Thursday; Aug. 15; 2002. She was born Oct. 31; 1924; in Youngstown; Ohio; a daughter of the late George and Elizabeth Jankovich Bice. She was a member of Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church; Fayette City. She was a former Democratic committeewoman for Arnold City for 35 years and a retired teachers’ assistant for the Belle Vernon School District. She was preceded in death by her husband Anthony (Tony) F. McGinsky on Jan. 3; 1994. Survivors include her children; Anthony (Butch) McGinsky and wife Darlene of North Charleroi; Toni Clites of Belle Vernon and Nancy Hoyes and husband Fred of Belle Vernon; two sisters; Dorothy Halgus of Belle Vernon and Stella Yanak of Carmichaels. Also survived by nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Sunday from 5 to 9 p.m. in the ELEY-MCCRORY FUNERAL HOME; INC.; 334 Main Street; Fayette City; PA; a blessing service will be held Sunday at 8 p.m. in the funeral home with Rev. Ronald Cyktor; Jr. officiating. Interment will be private for the family in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
