She was born in Belle Vernon on May 22;1923;the daughter of William and Eva Ross Minnie. She was an employee of the Mon Valley Community Health Center;Monessen. Mrs.Brown is survived by eight sons;George Jr.of Monessen;Terrance of Florida;Dennis;Ronald;Gregory;and Rodney;all at home;Gerald of Philadelphia and Kenneth of Chicago;one daughter;Diane;at home;one sister;Evalaen Minnie of Donora;and two grandchildren. Friends will be received in the Speers St.A.M.E.Church;Belle Vernon;from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Monday. Services will be held at the church Tuesday at 11 a.m.;with Rev.S.W.Chambers;former pastor of the Speers St.A.M.E.Church;officiating;assisted by current pastor Rev.W.M.McGowan. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The William R.Taylor Funeral Home;645 McMahon Ave.;Monessen;is in charge of arrangements.
