Ruth Charlton Meyer;79;formerly of Belle Vernon;died Tuesday;March 22;1988;at 10 a.m.in Woodlawn Nursing Home;Mansfield;Ohio. She was born in Coal Center;Jan.30;1909;a daughter of the late Robert and Carrie Livingstone Charlton. She was Lutheran by faith. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by her husband;William Meyer in 1967. Surviving are a son;Barton Meyer of Lucas;Ohio;a daughter;Mrs.Muriel Nalepa of Belle Vernon;two grandchildren;Karen and Don Meyer of Lucas;Ohio and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received in the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City;Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.and on Friday until 1 p.m.when services will be held in the funeral home with Pastor Edward Crotty of the Lynnwood Lutheran Church;Belle Vernon;officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
