Ruth May Quinn; 88; of Charleroi; died Thursday; Sept. 15; 2011; in Monongahela Valley Hospital. She was born June 20; 1923; in Columbus; Ohio; a daughter of the late Daniel and Rose Orr Balogh. Mrs. Quinn was a devoted wife; loving mother; grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed time with her family; loved traveling and enjoyed going to the casino. Surviving is her son; Doug Quinn and his wife; Pat; of The Villages; Fla.; her sisters; Betty Barton and Carol Balogh; both of Charleroi; and her brother; Frank Balogh and his wife; Marge; of Charleroi. Also surviving are her two grandchildren; Dr. Kelly Ann Deister and her husband; Eric; of Tampa; Fla. and Jeff Quinn and his fiancee Lisa; of Carlisle; and two great-grandchildren; Kimberly Deister and Bently Quinn. In addition to her parents; Mrs. Quinn is preceded in death by her husband; Kenneth Quinn; and her sister; Bertha Dutch. Friends will be received Saturday and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. in the SCHROCK-HOGAN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES INC.; 226 Fallowfield Ave.; Charleroi; where funeral services will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
