Ruth Hobbs Lieder of 709 1/2 Lincoln Ave.,North Charleroi,died Saturday,June 9,1984 in Panorama City, California. She was 81. Mrs. Lieder was born Nov. 7,1902,in Monessen. She was the daughter of Osmar T. Hobbs and Heinbaugh Hobbs. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Charleroi, and the AARP Chapter in Monessen. Mrs. Lieder was a retired nurse. Preceding her in death was her husband,Raymond Lieder. Surviving are a daughter,Patricia Michaels of Panorama City,Calif.;two brothers,Harry Hobbs of Charleroi and Alfred Hobbs of Youngstown,Ohio,one sister, Jane Margaret Dudra of North Charleroi;two grandchildren,Rosemary and Cheryl and some great grandchildren. Friends will be received Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Schrock-Hogan Funeral Home Inc.,226 Fallowfield Ave.,Charleroi. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Sowden officiating. Interment will follow at the Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Schrock-Hogan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
