Ruth I.Amato;85;of Belle Vernon;passed away on Sunday;February 2;2014.  A daughter of the late Thomas William and Ruth Whittlesey Read;she was born in Monessen on January 27;1929.  Ruth was Methodist by faith.  She formerly lived in Levittown prior to moving to the Mon Valley 26 years ago.  Ruth was a supervisor for the former Bell Telephone Company retiring in 1986.  Survirors include her brother and sister-in-law;Bill Read and his wife;Laura of Dublin;OH;her twin sister;Laura Byers formerly of Belle Vernon;two brothers-in-law and sister-in-law;Gary Triebsch of Mt.Lebanon and Norman and Sarafene Huscroft of Belle Vernon;many nieces and nephews;and her caretaker of many years;Alissa Wolpnk.  In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by her husband;S.Joseph Amato on February 9;2011;and her sister;Sandra Triebsch.  Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m.Friday;February 7;2014 in the Ferguson Funeral Home and Crematory;In.;(724-929-5300);700 Broad Avenue;Belle Vernon.  www.FergusonFuneralHomeAndCrematory.com  A funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 10A.M.
