Ruth E. (Wineland) Manzini, of Greensburg, formerly of Dunlevy, passed away surrounded by loved ones on Wednesday, August 15, 2018. She was born on March 10, 1927, a daughter of the late William and Hilda (Guder) Wineland. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Lydia Manzini, of Greensburg, granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Darcy and Jeffrey Fearer, of Latrobe, step-grandchildren; Pete and Leanne Dasta, of New Stanton, and James and Gina Skinner, of Greensburg, great-grandchildren, Ben and Katie Fearer, and step-great-grandchildren; Noah Loughner, Mackynzie and Kiersten Skinner. She is also survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Ray and Kay Wineland, of Coal Center, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Manzini, sisters; Velma Gray, Jean Manzini, Lois Nagy, and Betty Kibler, and brother, Bill Wineland. Ruth was a wonderfully caring, fun, and strong mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. She was always known for her fantastic sense of humor, loving to make others smile, laugh, and hope. A member of the Belle Vernon Church of the Nazarene, her love of Jesus was a powerful force in her life. Her poems and cakes were well sought out by those who knew and loved her, and even those who didn’t know her personally. Ruth even sent a poem to President Kennedy and received a thank you letter back from him. It was later published in the newspaper. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M.
