Mrs. Ruth Calloway,60,of 459 Clarendon Ave.,Monessen,died Thursday, Oct. 28,1965,at 8:05 p.m. in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital. Mrs. Callaway was a member of Wayman A.M.E. Church, Monessen,the Stewardess Board of the church and sang in the church choir. She was a past president of the Virginia Boyer Missionary Society. Mrs. Callaway was born in Pittsburgh on Jan. 16,1905. Surviving are her husband, Simuel;two daughters, Mrs. Major (Rachael) Turner and Mrs. Joseph (Bessie) Davis,both of Monessen;two sons, Wesley of Monessen and George with the United States Air Force in New York City; two sisters, Mrs. Frances Duncan of Montgomery,Ala.and Mrs. Serena Baddy of Washington,D.C. and eleven grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Beverly C. Draper Funeral Home,Monessen,after 7 p.m. Friday. Visiting hours will then be 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m.
