Ruth A. Homa; 91 of Rostraver Twp.; died Monday September 17; 2007 in the Mon Valley Care Center; Carroll Twp. Born Dec. 30; 1915 in Monessen; she was the daughter of the late Roland & Jennie Forsberg Allen. A life long resident of Rostraver Twp.; she was a homemaker and a founding member of the Lynnwood Lutheran Church in Lynwood; also she was a dog lover and enjoyed crocheting; baking; reading; crafts; and gardening. Survivors include her daughter and son in law; Sheryl & Charles F. Chapman; of Rostraver Twp. with whom she made her home; grandchildren; Cody B. Chapman and wife Emily of Fort Wayne Indiana; Blaise E. Chapman of Rostraver Twp.; great-grandchild; Madalyn V. Chapman; brother; Robert O. Allen and wife Betty of Rostraver Twp.; sisters; Elizabeth Hamilton of Carroll Twp. and Doris Fox of Avon Ohio; and numerous nieces & nephews. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband George Homa; and a brother John “Buddy” Allen.
