Russell K. Jones,92,of Fayette City,died Monday,July 17,2000,in his home. He was born Sept. 18,1907,in Allegheny County,a son of the late John and Sadie Yardley Jones. He was retired from the Allenport Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel. In addition to his parents,he was preceded in death by two sisters,Margaret Gregor and Mary Theakston. Survivors include his wife, Agnes Usher Jones;and one sister and brother-in-law,Florence and F.A.Issi of Charleroi. Friends will be received in the ELEY-McCRORY FUNERAL HOME INC.,334 Main St.,Fayette City,on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.and Wednesday until 11 a.m.,when funeral services will be held in the funeral home with the Rev. George McNeel officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
