Russell G.Young of 819 Washington Ave.;Charleroi;died Sunday;Sept.15;1985;at Mon Valley Hospital Inc. He was 68. Born in Pittsburgh;Aug.20;1917;he was a son of the late Elmer and Leah M.Young. Mr.Young was a resident of Charleroi for the past 17 years. He was Protestant by faith. He was a member of the Italia Unita Club and Elks Lodge 494;both of Charleroi. Mr.young retired as a mechanic from the Monongahela Ford Co. Surviving are his wife Antoinette Parnella Young;a son;Anthony T.DiDonato of Charleroi;three daughters;Mrs.Doris Weiss of Pittsburgh;Mrs.Sherry Newell of Dallas;Tex.;and Patricia DiDonato of Charleroi;eight grandchildren;one great-grandchild;and three brothers;Harry Young of Florida;Jack Young of Pittsburgh and Clair Young of the state of California. Friends will be received Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Carl J.Spallino Funeral Home;819 Fallowfield Ave.;Charleroi;where funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m.with Rev.Gerald McCormick;pastor of the First United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Mausoleum. Charleroi Elks services will be held at the funeral home Wednesday at 8 p.m. The Carl J.Spallino Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
