He was a member of Ernest E.Jobes Post 212;American Legion;Donora and Friendship Barracks No.2819;Veterans of World War I;Monongahela. Mr.Boyce was a veteran of World War I;having served with Co.A.;110th Infantry;28th Division. Surviving are his widow;Helen Hartzell Boyce;six daughters;Mrs.Joseph (Martha) Byrne of Elco;Mrs.Frank (Norma) Vitalo of Charleroi R.D.2;Mrs.Charles (Matilda) Nangle of Highland Terrace;Donora;Mrs.Elma Shipe;Mrs.Stanley (Patricia) Bolek and Mrs.Paul (Romaine)Scagline;all of Donora;a son;Russell H.at home;thirty-eight grandchildren;including Priscilla Boyce at home;and three great-grandchildren;a sister;Mrs.Clara Pancost of Arlingtn;Va.;two brothers;William in Florida and Edward in Utah. Friends are being received at the Harold R.Toner Funeral Home;Belle Vernon;from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Service there Wednesday;Jan.17;at 2 p.m.;conducted by the chaplain of Ernest E.Jobes Post 212;American Legion;Donora.
