Russel A.Marston;son of the late Dr.A.N.Marston;of Belle Vernon;took his own life Thursday night;May 19;1921;at the West Penn Hospital;Pittsburgh. He was a patient in the institution and when the nurse left the room for a short time he shot himself in the head;dying instantly. The dead man was well known in this city and was 43 years of age. He had been employed as a clerk in Belle Vernon for some time;but had been a patient in the hospital for a number of weeks and becoming despndent over his slow recovery;it is believed he decided to end it all. There was much mystery as to how he came into possession of the weapon;but a brother;Dr.A.J.Marston called at the morgue yesterday and identified the weapon;which he said was owned by the dead man. The body was brought to Belle Vernon yesterday and funeral services will be held at the home of Mrs.A.N.Marston on Wood street;Sunday afternoon at two o’clock with interment in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
