Obituary

Rudolph S.(Rudy) Duda,74,of Belle Vernon (Arnold City),died Thursday,Aug.28,1997,in the Monongahela Valley Hospital. He was born in Arnold City,Washington Township,on Nov.22,1922,a son of the late Frank and Anna Wal Duda. Mr.Duda was a retired employee of the Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp.from the Allenport plant. He was a veteran of World War II,having served with the U.S.Army. In addition to his parents,he was preceded in death by a son,Rudolph Duda in 1985. Survivors include his wife,Sarah Nichols Duda,two sons and daughters-in-law,Frank and Suzanne Duda of Fayette City and Kenneth and Barbara Duda of Monongahela,two daughters and sons-in-law,Linda and Bud Aglio of Newell and Margaret and Sam Krolik of Belle Vernon (Lynnwood),10 grandchildren,and a sister,Jennie Nipaver of Belle Vernon. Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Eley/McCrory Funeral Home,Inc.,334 Main St.,Fayette City,and Saturday until 11 a.m.,the hour of service,in the funeral home with pastor Don Chudd of the Lynnwood Lutheran Church officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Eley/McCrory Funeral Home Inc.is in charge of arrangements.
