Obituary

Rudolph Paul (Rudy) Stefanick, 62,of Lynnwood, Belle Vernon,died Thursday,March 30,1995,in his home. Mr. Stefanick was born Sept. 1,1932,in Washington Township,Fayette County, a son of the late Michael and  Anna Nalepa Stefanick.  He was employed at Andrew's Exxon Station, Fayette City.  Mr. Stefanick was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.  He was a member of the Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church, Fayette City.  A sister, Blanche Yetsconish,died in 1982. Surviving are one brother, Matthew E. and wife, Marie Stefanick of Belle Vernon and one brother-in-law,John Jay Yetsconish of Belle Vernon. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday until 9:30 a.m. in the Howard W. McCrory Funeral Home,Fayette City. A Prayer Service will be held Monday at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home followed by a 10 a.m. Funeral Mass in Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church,Fayette City,with the Rev. Richard E. Mackiewicz as celebrant. A parish Vigial Service will be held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. in the funeral home.  Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  He was also survived by four nephews, Matthew,Michael H. and Marti Stefanick,and Jay Michael Yetsconish,all of Belle Vneron.  The Howard W. McCrory Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
