Rudolph L. Baron,30,of Fairhope, a pump operator at the M & M mine in Beechwood Hollow,near Dunlevy,was instantly killed early Saturday morning,June 15,1946 when he was caught beneath a slate fall. He is believed to have been killed about 4 a.m. when crushed by the cave-in. He was a graduate of Marion High School,Washington township,Fayette county. He is survived by his wife, Nellie Dobosh Baron,two children,Joyce Loraine and Robert Edward Baron,his parents,Mr. and Mrs. John L. Baron of Faihope;two brothers, Adolph and John,two sisters, Mrs. Dave Igoe and Miss Rose Baron of Fairhope. Funeral services will be held Tuesday,June 18, at 10 o'clock from the home,with additional rites at 10:30 at the Polish National Church,with Rev. Heski officiating.
