Rudolph Eversburg,age 72,a resident of 205 Monessen St.,Belle Vernon,died Saturday,March 9,1974 at 2:15 p.m. in the Brownsville General Hospital. He was born in Vesta on May 8,1901, a son of the late Herman and Mary Anna Smith Eversburg. He was a member of St. Sebastian R.C.Church,Belle Vernon,was a retired coal miner,and a member of UMWA Local 2244. Surviving are his wife, Catherine Rade Eversburg,four sons, Francis Herman (Rudy) Eversburg,John Edward (Jack) Eversburg, both of Fairhope and Robert and Stephen,both of Alexandria,Virginia; two daughters, Mrs. Joseph (Patty) Valare of Bristol and Mrs. Richard (Kitty) Nash of Arlington, Virginia, and eighteen grandchildren.Friends are being received in the Howard W. McCrory Funeral Home,Fayette City,where Prayer services will be held Tuesday at 9:30 a.m.,followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Sebastian R.C.Church,Belle Vernon,with Fr. Edward P. Gearing as celebrant. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Rosary will be recited Monday evening at 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
