Ruby Christine Brown of 669 Braddock Ave.,Monessen,died Monday,July 6,1987,at 1:30 a.m.in the Haven Crest Nursing Home,Carroll Twp. She was 70. Mrs.Brown was born Aug.10,1916,in Marietta,Ga.,a daughter of the late James Daniel and Norma Daniel Isbell. A member of the Wayman A.M.E. Church in Monessen,Mrs.Brown was active in the Constant Workers of the Church,its Missionary Society,and other church organizations. She was a Monessen resident all of her life. Her husband, Felton R. Brown, died in 1974. Surviving are two sons, Felton R. Brown Jr. of Plano, Tex., and Carlton C. Brown of Hampton, Va.; Brown, of Piano, Tex., one daughter, Karen L. Brown, of Rochester, N.Y.; one brother, Edgar Isbell Jr. and a sister-in-law, Gladys Isbell, both of Charleroi; a brother-in-law, Christopher Brown, and his wife, Billie Brown, both of Columbus, Ohio; three grandchildren, Kevin Brown, Arthur Griffin-Brown and Sheri Griffin-Brown, and two special families, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Imbrogno and Mr. and Mrs Herbert Comet both of Monessen, who cared for Mrs Brown during a lengthy illness. There will be no public viewing.
