Wayne Bruce;44;of Roskovitch St.;Arnold City;Belle Vernon;died Friday;April 4;1969;at 3:40 p.m. in Shadyside Hospital;Pittsburgh;of complications after a lengthy illness. He was born in Washington County on Jan.21;1925;the son of the late James and Mildred Courtley Bruce. A World War II veteran of the Army;he was a member of the Bakewell-Phelps American Legion post 940;West Brownsville. He was an employee of the Penn Central Railroad in West Brownsville. Surviving are:his widow;Sara Mazza Bruce;two sons;Wayne of Fairhope and Kent at home;two grandchildren;and one brother;Kenneth of Long island;N.Y. Friends will be received after noon Sunday;April 6;at Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City;where services will be held Tuesday;April 8;at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev.Charles Colas of the First Baptist Church;Belle Vernon;officiating.
