Obituary

Roy T.Walters of 40 Zundel St.,Pricedale,died Saturday,Dec.8,1984,at 1:43 a.m. in Mon Valley Hospital,Carroll Twp. He was 77. Mr.Walters was born Feb.15,1907,in Columbia,W.Va.,a son of the late Marion E.and Lula A.Harvey Walters. He was a retired Coke Plant employee of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corporation's Monessen Works. Mr.Walters had been a resident of the Pricedale community the past 58 years. He was a member of the Pricedale Union Church. Three brothers,Earl,Patrick and Vernon Walters,are deceased. Surviving are his wife,Margaret Beato Walters,at home,seven daughters,Mrs.John(Jean) Miller of Washington,D.C.,Mrs.Violet (Dolly) Leezer of Pricedale,Mrs.Donald (Sally) Harkins of New Eagle,Mrs.Robert (Nancy) Dexter of Columbus,Ohio,Mrs.Ronald (Tisha) Sholtis of Belle Vernon,Mrs.Vince (Kathy) Lipari of Charleroi and Mrs.Albert (Bobbi) Sadler of Pricedale,two sons,Leroy Walters of Pricedale and Larry Walters of Monessen,17 grandchildren,six great-grandchildren,two brothers,Albert and Clarence Walters,both of Brownsville,one step-brother,John Harvey of Belle Vernon,and one sister,Mrs.Pearl Gilmore of Belle Vernon. Friends will be received at the Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home,626 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home,with the Rev.David Reeves,pastor,Pricedale Union Church,officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
