Roy S. Scholl,aged 53 years, 203 1/2 Shady avenue, Charleroi,died suddenly Tuesday, July 10,1956,while on vacation in Yellowstone National Park. He was employed by the Authority of the Borough of Charleroi. Mr. Scholl was on the third week of his vacation trip through the West with his wife,Mrs. Aline Souply Scholl. His heart attack occurred while the local couple was in a remote section of the vast park wilderness and it was necessary for Mrs. Scholl to drive over 50 miles in an effort to get aid for her stricken husband. Surviving are his wife,Mrs. Aline Soupley Scholl; his father, David S. Scholl of R.D.,Belle Vernon and four sisters, Mrs. Emma Fettick of Redlands, Cal.,Mrs. Margaret Rankin,Mrs. Mary Staup and Mrs. Sarah Trickett,all of R.D.,Belle Vernon;two brothers, William C. of Torrance, Cal.,and David P. of Belle Vernon. Friends will be received at the Toner Funeral home,Broad avenue, Belle Vernon, where visiting hours are from 1 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 10 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the Toner Funeral Home,Monday,July 16,at 2 p.m. with Rev. Abner P. Richard of the First Presbyterian Church, Monessen,officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Please omit flowers. Harold R.Toner,funeral director.
