Obituary

Heart attacks claimed two Belle Vernon district brothers over the weekend,Osborne W.Mitchell,65,of Arnold City dying Saturday night,Feb.24,1951 and his younger brother Roy S.Mitchell,61,succumbering in Belle Vernon early Monday Feb.26,1951. Roy S.Mitchell,of Cherry Alley,Belle Vernon,died of a heart attack at his home Monday Feb.26,1951 at 4 a.m. He was born in Fayette City. The survivors include his wife Mrs.May Mitchell,sons,Curtis,Charleroi RD,Roy Jr.,Robert Raymond,Donald Richard,Daniel Robert Mitchell at home,three daughters,Florence,Pittsburgh,Mrs.Agnes Kula,Belle Vernon and Mrs.Esther Kistler,Charleroi RD,one brother,Curtis of Donora,two sisters,Mrs.Archie McLaughlin,Fayette City RD and Mrs.Edward Johnson of Lake Lynn,and five grandchildren. Friends will be received at the late home. Services will be held there Thursday,March 1,1951,at 2 p.m.in charge of Rev.George A.Guest,pastor of the Marion Presbyterian Church. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. George M.McCrory,funeral director.
