Roxie B. Schwartz,69,of Lowber R.D.1,Fayette City,died Friday,Dec.1,1989,at 11:11 p.m. in Mon Valley Hospital Carroll Township,after a short illness. Mrs. Schwartz was born May 1,1920,in Webster,a daughter of the late Harmer O.and Alice Soles Hayden. Her husband,Kenneth E. Schwartz Sr.,died Aug. 19,1989. She was a Protestant by faith. Surviving are one son,Kenneth E. Schwartz Jr.,of Moorhead, Minn.;two daughters, Mrs. Mike (Jean) Salko of Newell and Nellie Schwartz of Lowber R.D.1,Fayette City;seven grandchildren;10 great-grandchildren;three brothers,Curtis Hayden of New Eagle,George Hayden of Charleroi and Albert Hayden of Elizabeth,and two sisters, Mrs. Charles (Pearl) Libengood of Bloomington,Calif.,and Mrs. Violet Field of Pittsburgh. Friends will be received in the Howard W. McCrory Funeral Home,Fayette City,on Sunday from noon to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.,on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Tuesday until 11 a.m.,the hour of services in the funeral home with Pastor Robert Cromwell of the Little Redstone United Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Howard W. McCrory Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
