Rose Caputo Teano;74;of Westmoreland Manor;Greensburg and formerly of the Belle Vernon Apartments;died Friday;Oct.8;1993;at 12:20 a.m. at Westmoreland Manor. She was born May 1;1919;in Rostraver Township;a daughter of the late John and Mary Alessio Caputo. Mrs.Teano was a lifelong member of the Belle Vernon community. She was a member of St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church of Belle Vernon and the Ladies Guild of the church. Additionally;she was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Belle Vernon American Legion Post 659 and the Anita Garibaldi Beneficial Society of Belle Vernon. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by her husband;Samuel Teano;Oct.31;1980;a brother;Joseph Caputo;and two sisters;Seraphina Caputo and Theresa Caputo. She is survived by two sisters;Mrs.Joe (Catherine) Misher Sr.and Mrs.Ralph (Virginia) Swantek;both of Belle Vernon. Friends will be received at the Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home;626 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A prayer service will be held in the funeral home Monday at 9:30 a.m.;followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St.Sebstian Roman Catholic Church;Belle Vernon. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
