Rose Mazza;70;of 501 Main St.;Belle Vernon;died Friday;Dec.31;1971;at 10:30 p.m.in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital. She was born in Grafton;W.Va.;June 15;1901;but resided in the Belle Vernon area almost her entire life. She retired four years ago as owner and operator of Rose’s Restaurant in Belle Vernon. She was a member of St.Sebastian R.C.Church;Belle Vernon;and an honorary member of the Belle Vernon Fire Department. Surviving are four sisters;Mrs.Josephine Teano;Mrs.Albert (Catherine) Trozzo;Mrs.Gilda Duda and Mrs.Alex (Mary) Teska;all of Belle Vernon;and three brothers;Tony Mazza of Arnold City;Domenick Mazza of Coraopolis and John Mazza of Belle Vernon. Friends are being received t the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home;Belle Vernon;where a Prayer service will be held Tuesday;Jan.4;at 9:30 a.m.followed by Requiem High Mass at St.Sebastian R.C.Church;Belle Vernon;with Msgr.Martin J.O’Toole officiating.
