Rose Mallino of 230 Bow St.;Stockdale;died Tuesday;Oct.15;1985;in the Washington County Health Center following a lengthy illness. She was 66. Born in farmington;W.va.;she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Carrie Caputo Mallino. A Monessen resident most of her life;she was employed as a cook for several area restaurants prior to retiring. A brother John preceded her in death. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Monessen and the Monessen Senior Citizens. Surviving are a daughter;Mrs.Donald (Cathy) Madzey of Stockdale;three grandchildren;Lisa;Tracy and Donald;three sisters;Mrs.Walter (Mary) Purtelak of Donora;Isabelle Mallino of Florida and Mrs.Mike (Yolanda) Guzanick of New Stanton;two brothers;Anthony Mallino of Monessen and Joseph Mallino of St.Clair Shores;Mich.and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Rhome Funeral Home;1209 Grand Boulevard;Monessen where services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. in the chapel with Rev.Earl Lehman officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Rhome Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
