Rose Caputo Grant; 78; of N. Belle Vernon; died Tuesday; October 2; 2007 at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation; Cleveland; Ohio.

Born January 1; 1929 in Belle Vernon; she was the daughter of the late Frank and Barbara Desimone Caputo.

A lifelong resident of Belle Vernon; Rose had lived the last several months with her daughter in Avon Lake; Ohio. She was a member of St. Sebastian R.C. Church; Belle Vernon; owned & operated Broad Ave. Apparel from 1977 to 1987. Rose also graduated valedictorian of Belle Vernon High School Class of 1946; was a member of the Anita Garibaldi of Belle Vernon; Recording Secretary for the Belle Vernon Golden Age Assembly; Catholic Daughters of the Americas B.V. Court 1522; St. Sebastian Legion of Mary and served as a volunteer for meals on wheels and St. Vincent DePaul Society.

She is survived by;
3 Sons & 2 daughters in law; Robert Neil & Paula Grant Jr. of Mechanicsburg; Frank Grant of Mechanicsburg; David & Amy Grant of Chambersburg
Daughter & son in law; Judi & Norman Kostelansky of Avon Lake
Sister in law; Kay Caputo of N. Belle Vernon
7 Grandchildren; Natalie and Brenda Kostelansky; Robert N. Grant III; Brian; Nicole; Kendyl and Andrew Robert Grant

She is preceded in death by her husband Robert N. Grant Sr. in 1995 and brother Joseph P. Caputo.

Visitation will be held Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Leonard J. Parzynski Funeral Home; Family Owned and Operated; 626 Broad Avenue; Belle Vernon 724-929-6183.

Prayer Service will be held Saturday at 8:30 am in the funeral home followed by funeral mass at 9:00 am at St. Sebastian R.C. Church with the Rev. Lawrence L. Manchas V.F. Pastor as celebrant.

Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery.

Members of St. Sebastian parish will pray the rosary for the departed soul of Rose Grant Friday at 3 PM and the Belle Vernon Anita Garibaldi Society will conduct services Friday at 3:30 PM both in the funeral home.
