Obituary

Mrs. Rose Wilson, 68,of 482 Clarendon Ave.,Monessen,was dead on arrival at Charleroi-Monessen Hosptial after she apparently suffered a heart attack and fell at the Union Baptist Church in Monessen on Saturday afternoon, Dec. 16,1967.  She was born in Marion, Ala.,and was an active member of the Union Baptist Church,where she was Church Mother.  She belonged to the Senior Missionary Society, the nurses' board,deaconess board and Circle of Ruth. Survivors are her husband, Sidney Wilson, a son, John Henry Rutledge of Monessen, a daughter, Mrs. Velma Lee of Chicago.,ILL.,and two brothers, The Rev. Robert Anderson  of Beaumont, Tex.,and Booker Anderson of Cleveland,Ohio,five sisters, Sadie Crockett,Ruby Dobson,Olhe Calloway,all of West Virginia,Mattie Powell of Cleveland and Minnie Burt of Centerville,Ala.,four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
