Obituary

Mrs. Rose Perry Clark,widow of Lyman E.Clark,former Monessen residents,died at the Perry home,303 Market street,Belle Vernon,at 5:40 Tuesday morning,June 24,1941,following a lingering illness.  Born in Berkshire,Mass.,in 1879,Mrs.Clark had lived in this immediate section practically all her life.  She was a member of the Monessen Chapter,Order of the Eastern Star.  Surviving are three sisters,Anna and Fannie Perry,of Belle Vernon,and Mrs.Clara Honsaker,of Charleroi,and two brothers,Alfred Perry,of Monongahela,and Albert Perry,of Belle Vernon.  Her husband preceded her in death in 1934.  Friends are being received at the home where services will be held Thursday evening,June 26,at 7:30 o'clock.  Dr.Edwin G.Sloan,pastor of the Belle Vernon Presbyterian Church,will preside.  Interment will be private Friday morning at 10 o'clock in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
