Obituary

Rose Delia, 95, of North Belle Vernon, passed away Saturday, May 2, 2015, in Jefferson Regional Medical Center. A daughter of the late Joseph and Filomena DeFazio Delia, she was born in Belle Vernon on Dec. 28, 1919. Rose was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church and the Belle Vernon Golden Agers. A lifelong resident of North Belle Vernon, she had been employed at the former Belle Vernon Glass Factory and both Natalini's and Abbott's News Stands. Survivors include two brothers, Frank Delia of North Belle Vernon and Joseph Delia of Glassport; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral Mass was held Monday in St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church followed by burial in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
