Rose Marino Cardelli;81;of 421 Ontario St.;Monessen;died Thursday;Feb.8;1973;at 8:30 p.m.in Charleroi Division of Mon Valley Hospital. She was born in Italy on Dec.7;1891 and was a member of St.Cajetan R.C.Church;Monessen. She also belonged to the Rosary-Altar Society of the parish and the Ladies of Italian Mutual Aid Society and NIPA Auxiliary;all of Monessen. Mrs.Cardelli was preceded in death by her husband;Theodore;in 1951. She is survived by two nieces;Mrs.Joseph Murphy of Pittsburgh and Mrs.Dolores Macosko of California State;and two nephews;Peter Cardelli of Monessen and Edward Cardelli of Dearborn;Mich. Friends will be received at the Edwin Melenyzer Funeral Home;Monessen;from 7 to 9 p.m.Saturday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Sunday. Rosary will be recited Sunday at 8 p.m. Blessing service will be held Monday at 8:30 a.m.at the funeral home;followed by Mass of the Resurrection at 9 a.m.in St.Cajetan R.C.Church;Monessen;with the Rev.P.Lino Ramellini;pastor;officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
