Rose Bongiorno of 315 Shady Ave.;Charleroi;died Thursday;March 4;1976;at 1:30 a.m. in Charleroi Division of Mon Valley Hospital. She was 39. Born in Monessen on June 5;1936;she was a daughter of the late Carlo and Josephine Clausi. Mrs.Bongiorno was a member of the Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church;Charleroi and the Charleroi Area High School Band Boosters. A daughter;Paula;preceded her in death in 1962. Surviving are her husband;Philip R.Bongiorno;three daughters;Phyllis;Patricia and Pamela;all at home;one brother;Louis A Clausi of Monessen;and a sister;Mrs.Joseph (Mary) Stimak of Monessen. Friends will be received at the Francis C.Slezak Funeral Home;Charleroi;from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Friday. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at 9 a.m.in Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church;Charleroi;with the Rev.J.J.Thomas;pastor;officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
