Obituary

Rosario (Ross) Sellaro of 415 Main street,Belle Vernon,died Wednesday,February 16,1955,at 2:30 a.m.following an illness of nine months. Mr.Sellaro was born in Italy on April 18,1878,and had been a resident of Belle Vernon for forty-three years. He was a retired employee of the American Window Glass Company. He was a member of St.Sebastian Church,the Sons of Italy Lodge 663,and the S.M.S. Italia Unita Lodge,Charleroi. He is survived by his wife,Mrs.Saleta Sellaro,five sons,James of Fairpoint,Ohio,Joseph of Monessen,John,Frank and Louis of Belle Vernon,three daughters,Mrs.John Klisowski,Mrs.Clifford Toth,Miss Edith Sellaro,all of Belle Vernon,two sisters,Mary in Italy and Mrs.Rose Mazzi of Clarksburg,West Virginia,and ten grandchildren. Friends will be received at the late home,where services will be held Saturday,February 19,1955,at 9 a.m.,followed by Requiem High Mass at St.Sebastian Church at 9:30 o'clock,in charge of Rev.Francis Martin. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Phillip DeRienzo is the funeral director.
