Rosario Coccari of 403 Pearl St.;Monessen;died Tuesday at 10:15 p.m. in the Jefferson Hills Manor Nursing Home. He was 88. Born in Italy;Nov.26;1893;he was the son of the late Joseph and Angelina Coccari. Mr.Coccari had been a resident of Monessen for the past 72 years. He was a member of St.Cajetan Church;Monessen;and the Monessen Sons of Italy. He retired from Page Steel and Wire;Monessen;in 1963. Mr.Coccari was preceded in death by two brothers;Carmine and Dominic Coccari. Surviving are his wife;Philomena Malgeri Coccari;three sons;Joseph;John and Rudolph Coccari;one daughter;Marie Heckel;seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren;and one brother;Frank;in Italy. Friends are being received on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Raymond D.Dalfonso Funeral Home;441 Red Ave.;Monessen;where blessing services will be held Friday;Oct.1;at 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial follows at 10 a.m. at St.Cajetan Church;Monessen;with Rev.P.Lino Ramellini offficiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. A parish rosary will be said at the funeral home Thursday at 8 p.m. The Raymond D.Dalfonso Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
